The streets of Trivandrum erupted in excitement as South Indian superstar Thalapathy Vijay landed in Kerala for the filming of his upcoming movie, 'GOAT' (The Greatest of All Time). Thousands of fans gathered at the airport and trailed Vijay as he made his way to his hotel. However, amidst the chaos, the actor's car suffered damage from the enthusiastic crowd, as seen in a video circulating online showing shattered glass and dents.

Vijay is slated to shoot for 'GOAT' in Kerala for about a week. His team expressed gratitude for the overwhelming reception after his 14-year hiatus in the state.

Directed by Venkat Prabhu, 'GOAT' is expected to wrap up production in the coming months, with a theatrical release anticipated later this year.

Earlier reports suggested that actress Trisha is set to make a cameo appearance in 'GOAT,' reuniting with Vijay after their collaboration in director Lokesh Kanagaraj's 'Leo.' Sources indicate that Trisha has completed her portions, including a song sequence.

The film boasts an ensemble cast featuring Prashanth, Prabhudheva, Sneha, Ajmal Ameer, Vaibhav, Laila, Mohan, Aravind Akash, and Ajay Raj, who will align with either the hero or the villain. Produced by AGS Entertainment, the movie features music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, cinematography by Siddhartha Nuni, and editing by Venkat Raajen.
