Telegu director Bapu conferred award

Veteran Telugu director Bapu a.k.a Sattiraju Laxmi Narayanawas conferred the "Vishwa Vikyata Dharshaka Maharishi" award by industrialist-politician T. Subbarami Reddy (TSR).

The award was presented on the occasion of the birthday of TSR, who on this day every year, honours a member from film fraternity.

"I'm extremely blessed to have received this honour. I will cherish this moment forever," Bapu said at the event.

Over the years, TSR has honored film personalities such as Shabana Azmi, Javed Akhtar, Sunil Dutt, and P. Suseela among many more.

Telugu filmmaker K. Vishwanath presented the award to Bapu in the presence of a galaxy of personalities such as D. Rama Naidu, Manchu Mohan Babu, Archana and Poonam Kaur.
