The hunt for the new female lead for Sanskaar - Dharohar Apnon Ki was on and the media was buzzing for a long time but now the hunt is finally over. Recently, the news was out that Krystle Dsouza had been roped in to play the female lead in the show but things didn't work out and the hunt continued...

However it seems that the channel and production house have finally zeroed in on the girl. According to our source, "Tejaswi Prakash Wayangankar, who was last seen in Life Ok's 26-12 has been finalised to play the character of Dhara, who will be the new lead of the show opposite Jay Soni as Bhoomi's (Kadambari Kadam) character is coming to an end. Dhara will be shown as coming from a very small village named Keshavgarh. Her character is very much similar to Basanti (played by Hema Malini) in the Superhit movie Sholay as Dhara too is very talkative, loud and bubbly."

When we called Tejsavi, she confirmed the news saying, "Yes, I am playing the character of Dhara in Sanskaar Season 2. Dhara is very different from all others in her own way. I am very excited because after having a good run in its first season, Sanskaar has come back with its second season. I am also feeling nervous at the same time since I will have to keep up the name of the show because there are a lot of brilliant actors working in the show. I have lots of mixed feelings and responsibilities to carry forward to make the show better."

Tejasvi is expected to start shooting from tomorrow onwards. We wish Tejasvi all the best for her new show!
