Tarun Khanna to enter Chandragupta Maurya..

Talented actor Tarun Khanna will be seen in a challenging rolein the Imagine historical show..

Tarun Khanna who was earlier seen in Jhansi Ki Rani has bagged a powerful and dynamic role in Imagine's Chandragupta Maurya.

Tarun will soon be seen as the intelligent, able and strong Governor Karvinath.

Our source states, "Karvinath has aspirations of defeating the ruler Dhananand (Suraj Thapar) and taking charge as the King. Karvinath reports to Dhananand but feels that he is more capable of becoming the ruler. In other words, he is a soft-hearted man who can be treacherous from within".

When contacted, Tarun confirmed the news to TellyBuzz and said, "Yes, I am starting shoot for Chandragupta Maurya".

We hear that the actor is starting shoot today, and his entry will be aired soon.

The ratings of Chandragupta Maurya, produced by Sagar Arts and 72 Degrees Northe has been on the rise with every passing week. Recently it hit an average of 2 TVR mark.

Guess the entry of Tarun would add yet another dimension to the story line..

This is so exiting to hear that Tarun is the Karvinath. It would be great and interesting to watch how Chandragupt defeats him and free's all the villages under his thumb. Also according to the article Karvi seems to have problem with Dhananand so may be Chandragupt can use this fact to defeat Dhananand...
