Tarun Khanna enters Maharakshak Aryan

Having impressively essayed impactful roles in Zee TV's previous shows like Shobha Somnath Ki and Sarrkar... Risston Ki Ankahi Kahani, hunky model-turned-actor Tarun Khanna will be seen in this weekend's episode of Zee TV's superhero series Maharakshak Aryan'. He will play the role of Thakshak, an evil force that the young superhero Aryan must combat in order to save the world!

Talking about his unconventional character, Tarun said, "I have always shied away from daily soaps because Ive always felt that I don't fit into the genre. One of the key factors that attracted me to Maharakshak Aryan was the character of Thakshak and his extraordinary look. I just knew I wanted to do it. Having worked with Zee in the past, I had always been very welcoming with respect to offers to work on the channel and I'm glad to be back on one of its shows after long."

A far cry from all the previous villains, Thakshak was one of Triloki's strongest men until Triloki used him as a shield in a fierce battle and he was brutally injured in the whole process. When Triloki sends Thakshak to destroy Aryan, he strikes up a conversation with the young superhero and understands how Aryan has managed to triumph over the previous villains deployed by Triloki. Now, Thakshak decides to hatch a mysterious plan. After all, his loyalties towards Triloki are questionable after how he was exploited as a shield mercilessly in the fierce battle. Will Thakshak plan to destroy Triloki with the help of Aryan or will be devise a plan to destroy Triloki himself and land Aryan in a soup at the same time?

Maharakshak Aryan is a gripping narrative of a young reluctant superhero that showcases the triumph of good over evil. The show which launched on 1st November, in the weekend family unifier band of the channel, has received a good response from the viewers. With shows like Neeli Chhatri Wale, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li'l Champs 5 and Maharakshak Aryan, Zee TV is strengthening its original weekend programming line-up.
