Jiiva, who has been a prominent figure in the Tamil film industry, was recently in the headlines for his remarks on the Justice K Hema Committee report, which highlighted the issue of sexual harassment in the film industry. At an event, Jiiva expressed frustration with how such issues are being addressed publicly, stating that the film industry should aim to maintain a positive atmosphere. His comments, particularly about the issue being more prevalent in the Kerala film industry, sparked a debate.

On the work front, Jiiva is set to star in the upcoming film Black, alongside Priya Bhavani Shankar. He also recently portrayed ex-Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in Yatra 2. Fans can look forward to his performances in other forthcoming projects, including Methavi and Kannappa, further solidifying his presence in the industry despite recent setbacks.
