It is no secret as to just how popular Crime Patrol has been over the years and continues to be even today with so much time passing by. While actor Anup Soni has pretty much been the face of the show for a long period of time, his exit led to many other actors coming in occasionally to fill in as the host of the show. Putting star power to the max, actor Divyanka Tripathi was recently roped in to be the host and she did a great job for almost two months.
Now that her stint has ended, taking over from her is actor Sonali Kulkarni. Kulkarni is a celebrated name in the entertainment industry and will now be hosting Crime Patrol's upcoming series.
Titled Justice Reloaded, Kulkarni opened up about it in an interview with ETimes TV. She said, “I am all heart that the show is launching tonight. I was pretty doubtful about myself before taking up the show but the team ignited confidence in me. I also feel that Anup Soni had taken the show to another level. We are friends for two decades now and replacing him was a big responsibility. The team wanted someone who would not copy his style."
Talking about the justice system, she said, “Let us all be supportive of police who have sacrificed their lives for us. It was very heartbreaking for me to hear and see that mankind can commit such heinous crimes. I had tears in my eyes and I had to take a couple of moments to realise that it is a show. My team also told me not to get emotional. With this show, I want to appeal to people that don’t fear and don’t think you won’t get justice - have faith. You have to fight for justice at times and have patience.”
