Actor Swara Bhasker, known for her unapologetic stance and candid responses, has once again taken on online trolls. The actor recently addressed criticism surrounding her "conservative" wardrobe choices post-marriage to NCP leader Fahad Ahmad, with a sharp and witty response.
Swara shared a meme that juxtaposed two images: one of her with husband Fahad and Maulana Sajjad Nomani, dressed in a simple salwar-kurta with her head covered, and another glam shot from her acting days. The meme implied a "before-after" transformation, suggesting Swara had adopted a conservative style after her marriage.
Swara claps back at trolls
The actor responded by sharing additional photos of herself post-marriage, where she wore Western outfits, including dresses and an off-shoulder gown. Swara captioned the post, “I didn’t realise my wardrobe choices post marriage are a national cyber debate (bizarre!).. Here are more pics of me post marriage to give Sanghi vermin more fodder for their dung.”
She also addressed the trolls' comments about her husband and his religion, saying, “I’m sorry @FahadZirarAhmad doesn’t fit your stereotype of a conservative Muslim husband. Lol!”
