Surbhi Jyoti Shares Prayers at Ganga and Glimpses of Her 'Sasural' in Rishikesh

Surbhi Jyoti, best known for her role in Qubool Hai, has recently embarked on a new chapter in her life following her marriage to longtime partner Sumit Suri. The couple tied the knot in a lavish ceremony held in Jim Corbett on October 27.

Embracing her new role, Surbhi took to social media to share moments from her ‘sasural’ in Rishikesh. In an Instagram reel, she compiled clips of herself praying by the Ganga and visiting various devotional sites in the area, seeking blessings in her traditional attire. Dressed in a stunning pink salwar suit paired with a green dupatta, she showcased her chooda, a traditional bridal ornament. Alongside the video, she captioned it, “Sasural Genda Phool…Rishikesh.”

Leading up to her wedding, Surbhi shared a series of joyful posts featuring her Mehendi and Haldi ceremonies, along with glimpses from their Sangeet and Cocktail Nights. The wedding was a joyous occasion, attended by family and friends at Jim Corbett National Park, all there to celebrate the couple’s union. After the wedding, Surbhi shared images of her first rasoi, where she was seen making halwa alongside her husband. Recently, they also celebrated their first Diwali as a married couple.

Before her rise to fame in Hindi television, Surbhi appeared in Punjabi shows. Her breakthrough role in Qubool Hai catapulted her to success, and she has since starred in popular series such as Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya, Ishqbaaaz, Koi Laut Ke Aaya Hai, and Naagin 3.
