Actress Ayesha Kapoor who previously made her television debut with popular show Sherdil Shergill. The actress currently plays the parallel lead role of Nikki, who happens to be the girlfriend of Dheeraj Dhoopar. The show stars’ actress Surbhi Chandna as the protagonist.

Ayesha talks about her experience working with Dheeraj and Surbhi. She says, "I'm enjoying shooting with both Dheeraj and Surbhi as both of them are very positive souls and you find a comfort zone while shooting along with them. They help me to perform better. The best quality about them is whenever they come on set, they start shoots only after greeting each one of us. There is no attitude in them even after being so successful. They are always a source of encouragement and also inspire me to be kind and hardworking. Also I'm glad that I got the opportunity to work with such a beautiful and talented team. There is so much to learn from them and that will always help me to grow in the industry."

Ayesha adds that she enjoys playing Nikki. She said, "Essaying the role like Nikki is itself an opportunity. I enjoy a lot while performing the character, she is fun and a drama queen. She is just like a possessive girlfriend who keeps her eye on her boyfriend and do everything possible to let the world know about their relationship. She doesn’t talk without using mushy words.  I remember even while I was giving the audition, I was asked to use the word ‘Janu’ and till now I keep using that word in each of my dialogues. I feel as an actor it is a wonderful start for me on TV and I hope that I get to  play more challenging and powerful roles ahead in my career."

Ayesha started her career acting in popular digital series like Pari, Fark and Vaishya, and she will soon make her Bollywood debut with the upcoming film ‘Lovestreet’.
