Sunny Deol to leave the Hindi film industry? The actor talks about learning from South producers

Anurag Kashyap recently announced his departure from the Hindi film industry, stating his intention to move to the south. He expressed his disillusionment with the industry's current state, stating, "I want to stay away from film people. The industry has become too toxic. Everyone is chasing unrealistic targets, trying to make the next $500 or 7800 crore film. The creative atmosphere is gone." He further elaborated on his discontent, saying, "I envy them (South filmmakers). Because now, it's difficult for me to go out and experiment. Because now, it comes at a cost, which makes my producers think about profit."

Following Kashyap's departure, Sunny Deol has echoed a similar sentiment, urging Bollywood producers to learn from their counterparts in the south.

He further added on a serious note, "I wish Bollywood producers learn something from South producers. Make it Hindi cinema first, and then learn how to make cinema."

Speaking at the trailer launch, Sunny Deol addressed the wave of new projects he and Bobby Deol are receiving following the success of "Gadar 2" and "Animal." He emphasized that they are not feeling overwhelmed by the increased workload, stating that it's simply time they were given such opportunities.

Sunny Deol is set to star in the upcoming film "Jaat" which is a high-octane drama packed with larger-than-life action sequences, is set to captivate audiences. The film boasts a stellar cast, including Randeep Hooda, Vineet Kumar Singh, Saiyami Kher, and Regina Cassandra. It will be released in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, promising a pan-Indian appeal.
