Amid Rs 30,000 crore inheritance dispute of Sunjay Kapur, Samaira Kapoor, daughter of Bollywood actress Karisma Kapoor and her late ex-husband Sunjay Kapur, was recently seen by the paparazzi in Mumbai. While she typically avoids the spotlight, she made a rare public appearance during a recent outing. Though the 20-year-old didn't pose for photos, she was observed quickly entering her car and conversing with someone in the backseat.

In a video posted by Instant Bollywood on Instagram, Samaira Kapoor was seen entering a car. She looked stunning in a black dress with her hair styled in a half bun. She was happily chatting with someone inside the car. The video quickly gained traction on social media, with fans noting her resemblance to her mother, Karisma. One fan wrote, "Like mother like daughter," while another commented, "She looks like young Karisma." A third netizen added, "She is so beautiful and simple Gorgeous."

Karisma Kapoor, who was married to businessman Sunjay Kapur from 2003 to 2016, has two children with him: 20-year-old daughter Samaira and 14-year-old son Kiaan.

In 2020, when asked whether Samaira aspires to venture into Bollywood, Karisma Kapoor told Spotboye, “That’s not true. My daughter and her group of friends are interested in films through all aspects of movies, so whether it will be behind the scenes or in front of the camera I still do not know. They are just experimenting now and learning the ropes. So right now there are no such plans per se. Above all, Samaira is very young and still in school. This whole project is like an extra-curricular activity."

Media reports indicate Sunjay's long-term financial planning, gifting Karisma's children, Samaira and Kiaan, bonds worth ?14 crore, with a ?10 lakh monthly income for each. Karisma Kapoor also received ownership of a family home previously held by Sunjay’s father, Dr. Surinder Kapur.

Regarding Sona Comstar and the promoter stake held via Aureus Investments Pvt Ltd, Samaira and Kiaan appear to have no managerial or financial involvement. Their inheritance, while significant, appears to be primarily personal rather than tied to corporate responsibilities, indicating a clear distinction in the estate's structure.

Sunjay Kapur, who died in the UK at 53 from a heart attack during a polo match, was a key figure in business and sports. As chairman of Sona Comstar, he was a major player in the automotive industry. He was also actively involved in motorsports and polo.

Sunjay Kapur, who married Karisma Kapoor in 2003, had two children, Samaira and Kiaan, with her. They separated in 2014 and divorced in 2016. In 2017, he married model Priya Sachdev and had a son, Azarias, while also co-parenting Priya’s daughter from a previous marriage.
