While Bollywood movies are famous for bringing in many trends to the viewers, TV shows have been equally instrumental in presenting us with some major fashion statements. Though some people do watch them purely for entertainment, we cannot miss out on the fact that there is some inspiration that people can draw from costumes that they see.
We have to give this one to Ishqbaaaz, courtesy the balance that the show maintains between the female and male styling, and of course, its own trends and already existing ones. While the show has received backlash for maybe a one or two of its trend games, it has been by far one of the best trendsetters on Indian TV.
Be it Anika's (Surbhi Chandna) chic jewellery, or the ethnic and indo-western wear sported by the other female leads, Shrenu Parikh (Gauri) and Mansi Srivastava (Bhavya), the style game is on point.
Moving on to the male characters, all the men in the show have their own kind of style to portray. While Nakuul Mehta aka Shivaay is the classy and dapper brother, Kunal Kulbhushan Jaisingh aka Omkara is a mix of both western and traditional; and Leenesh Mattoo aka Rudra is more of a casual wearer.
If you are someone who is into traditional wear, then this show is like the God of all the style ideas you might want for the next function in your family. Shivangi Joshi aka Naira and Mohena Singh aka Keerti have some of the nicest traditional outfits in the show.
On events and occasions, the men in the show have decent dressing as well and you might like to have a look at them, to which you can always add your own additions.
#3. Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi
Yet another of our favourites, we love how Erica Fernandes aka Sonkashi has been styled both pre-leap and post-leap. Erica has sported some really nice Indian as well as boho looks, and we've been crushing on her since a long time.
Shaheer Sheikh aka Dev too, with his added charm has been showcasing some classy looks, the latest of them being the hair cut that he got.
#4. Beyhadh
With Jennifer Winget, the style game is bound to go up, and that is exactly the case with Sony TV's Beyhadh. While her looks keep creating a buzz time and again, Kushal Tandon aka Arjun, Aneri Vajani aka Saanjh and Kavita Ghai aka Jhanvi have sported some amazing looks to take inspiration from.
#5. Ek Shringaar - Swabhimaan
This show will give you all the inspiration you need for Indian clothing. And, for someone who has a thing for typical rajasthani styling, you definitely should be on a look out for Naina (Ankitaa Sharma) and Meghna's (Sangeita Chauhan) outfits.
