For this season's festivities, ditch the heavy hand embroideries and machine made borders, for Banarasi brocade fabric is back. Probably your Mom already has a Banarasi sari in her closet that you could re-purpose. This intricately woven brocade fabric gives out the feeling that it actually is embroidery while it is a heavy woven material made to look that way. Not just does every Indian mother swear by its opulence, the Mughal royals were also immensely in love with Banarasi Jamawar. Brocade famously known as Banarsi brocade is woven using gold and silver silken threads, named after the city Banaras (Varanasi, India), where it is famously made.

Khubsoorat didnt go well with the audience???? Who said so?? It was one of the biggest hits of that year! I watched that movie 3 times in the movie theater that time!
