Star Plus' upcoming period drama ropes in its PRINCIPAL actors..!

The show is all set to go on floors soon..

Star Plus is on a roll when it comes to coming up with new shows, where apart from recently launching 'Chandra Nandini', it has the Drashti Dhami starrer, 'Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil' and Sanaya Irani starrer 'Meenu Mausi' in the pipeline.

While, 'Chandra Nandini' is recently launched, Star Plus has another period drama ready and set to be rolling soon. And that show is tentatively named, 'The King's Daughters'.

The base plot of the show is yet to be revealed where it is about a mighty king who has three daughters.

And the actor, who has been roped in to play the role of king is seasoned actor Shakti Anand, who is best known for his role in 'Bharat Ka Veer Putra - Maharana Pratap' and 'Balika Vadhu'.

And playing one of youngest of three daughters would be Gracy Goswami, best known for her role in 'Balika Vadhu'.

The casting process is going on in full swing and the show is gearing up for a pilot shot soon.

We tried contacting Shakti, however, he remained unavailable.
