Star Plus to come up with new show, P.O.W.!
Prisoner Of War, will highlight a story of a person who has been captured and imprisoned by the enemy in war.

Star Plus along with Nikkhil Advani come together with an untold story of the war P.O.W. - Bandi Yuddh Ke'. An Indian adaptation of the acclaimed Gideon Raff's Hatufim', P.O.W. is a finite series airing for a period of 5 months of an absorbing fictional narration to be launched this season on STAR Plus.
A large scale high octane family drama with a thriller backdrop, the story takes us through the journey of the lives of the two couples Harleen-Sartaj, Nazneen-Imaan and the aftermath of the return of the war heroes after 17 years. Two Indian POWs are rescued from the Indo-Pak border, after they had escaped a Pakistani prison. Sartaj and Imaan, who were declared Missing in Action (MIA) after the Kargil war ended in 1999, return home after a 17 years in captivity. They work to overcome the trauma of torture and captivity while settling back into their interrupted family lives.
A cast ensemble of discerning actors like Purab Kohli, Sandhya Mridul, Amrita Puri, Satyadeep Misra and Manish Chaudhari have teamed up for the project with Nikkhil Advani.
One of the most sought after Directors, Nikkhil Advani who is spending sleepless nights working on this project says, "Patriotism has been a subject very close to my heart and each of my project, be it D-Day, Airlift now P.O.W.'. With this show, I would like to bring the untold journey of the prisoners of war who are not captive in chains but in hopes in their every moment. The story of the war which begins with the return of the heroes back home. P.O.W. is not just a story of Harleen, Nazneen, Sartaj or Imaan - it is a story of family, emotions, sacrifices and patriotism. It is the story of India which provokes the question Who are the real Prisoners of War?'.
