Sriti Jha roped in to play the female lead opposite Arjit Taneja in Mukta Dhond's upcoming show?

Arjit Taneja, who gained recognition as a finalist on Colors TV's "Khatron Ke Khiladi 13," is gearing up for a return to fictional television. According to a report by Telly Chakkar, Arjit Taneja has been approached to play the lead role in an upcoming Zee TV series produced by Mukta Dhond. 

Our sources close to the show have revealed that Sriti Jha is also in talks to play the female lead. The source stated, "Both Arjit and Sriti have been approached for the lead roles, and pending successful negotiations, they may come on board." However, official confirmation is still pending.

For those unfamiliar, Arjit and Sriti previously worked together on Zee TV's popular show "Kumkum Bhagya" and share a close off-screen friendship. Sriti recently showed her support for her best friend, Arjit, during the grand finale of "Khatron Ke Khiladi 13."
