'Spy Bahu' ropes in Aarya Sharma to play Sehban Azim's on-screen mother

Colors recently launched the rather unique show, Spy Bahu that has managed to receive positive initial reviews. The show stars Sehban Azim and Sana Sayyad in lead roles. And while the story will gradually progress, a new entry has already been confirmed in the show.

Actor Aarya Sharma has been roped in to play the role of Azim's on-screen mother. Interestingly, Azim's character of Yohan Nanda has shown to have a dead mother and hence, Sharma, who will be playing the role of Aarti Nanda will be seen in the show in the form of a flashback sequence.

Sharma confirmed to the same to a news agency but refused to divulge further details. Amazingly, she has earlier worked with Azim and Parineeta Borthakur in the show, Bepannaah and is obviously elated to work with them again. Talking about that, she said, "I'm looking forward to working with Sehban and Parineeta yet again. In Bepannah I had played Sehban's mother-in-law and in Spy Bahu he will be seen playing the role of my son."

For the uninitiated, Aaryaa did a couple of TV shows like Jamai Raja, Love Ka Hai Intezaar, Bepanaah, etc. She is all set to make her Bollywood Debut with Laal Singh Chaddha.

Spy Bahu was also in the news for having superstar Kareena Kapoor Khan introduce the show in a special promo earlier.
