Sphere Origins' 'Godh Baraai' for COLORS scrapped..

Sphere Origins' show Godh Baraai which was planned to take the afternoon slot on COLORS has been scrapped..

Sphere Origins' upcoming show for COLORS, 'Godh Baraai' had successfully completed its audition process with the main cast of the show finalized, when the channel decided to scrap the show.

According to our source, "Godh Baraai and the BAG Films show, Ganga were to kick-start the afternoon band of COLORS, and the shows were to occupy the time slot of 1-2PM. In fact, Godh Baraai had got its main leads as well as the cast of the show when the decision to scrap it was made by the channel".

Godh Baraai was a tale which was to span the life of a simple girl from her growing up stages to her marriage, which ultimately leads to her becoming a complete woman as she gets into the family way.

When contacted, Producer Sunjoy Wadhwa of Sphere Origins said, "The show is not scrapped, it has been delayed".

We tried contacting the officials of the channel, but received no response.

With the Sphere Origin show scrapped, the channel has now decided to shift the BAG Films show Ganga to a prime time slot. Balaji Telefilms' show on COLORS for a prime time band has also got delayed due to the change in the script. The story was initially to revolve around a Punjabi family, but has now been changed to the likes of a Gujarati or Marwari family.

This only means that the launch of the afternoon slot on COLORS will be delayed..

hehehe obviously coz gujju or marwari families are the trend now...back in the day it was punjabi families...then a couple of bengali families etc.

but then, Kekta never got her Punjabi families right either...hopefully she gets her Marwari or Gujju families right
