Sonika Sahaye makes a comeback...

Sony's Hum Ladkiyaan will have three new entries coming into the show. While Karan Mehra plays a business tycoon, the character of Alka will now be played by a newcomer Preeti.

Sonika Sahaye who was earlier seen in Saath Phere will play Karan's sister.

"I play the character of Naina and I'm really happy to be part of the show," says Sonika.

Elaborating on her role she quips, "She is a grey character for now but eventually will turn totally negative. There is nobody in her family besides her brother. Eventhough she is cruel and bad, when it comes to her younger brother Yuvraj she goes weak on her knees."

Sonika is a business woman. "She handles the huge empire and business. Now in the coming episodes I don't like the closeness of Yuvraj and Ajju and I try to split them. Ajju is not of our family status and has dark complexion too," she quips.

We talked to Preeti, the new Alka about her entry. "Alka was in the village and now she returns home. Everyone is eagerly waiting for me. I'm singing a song and this is how family members know that I'm back," she states.

Preeti will also be seen in Sony's Specials @ 10. "I'm doing an episodic called Rajuben and essay the role of Shilpa's younger sister. It is Anurag Kashyap's episodic and I'm very much excited about it," she chirps.

Hope these new entries give some rise to the TRP's of the show.
