Janhvi Kapoor’s Param Sundari has been called out for its stereotyping of South Indian characters. The actress seems to have endured the worst brunt of it all. From her styling in sarees and flowers to the scene where she cuts coconuts from the tree everything has been trolled. After seeing the trailer, many South Indian influencers said Maddock would have done a good thing if they got a diction coach on the sets. Well, a content creator made a video where she mimicked the voice of Janhvi Kapoor from the movie. It looked like a mockery. Sonam Bajwa dropped emojis of her laughing hilariously at the same. Do outsiders get easy pass to mock star kids?

On Reddit, netizens pointed out how after a post that kind of made fun of Sara Ali Khan, Jamie Lever’s reached increased. Thereafter, she made more videos of the actress. People said that everyone seems too comfortable bullying star kids online. While content creators might think differently, what is surprising is how industry colleagues openly like such videos. They said even Harshvardhan Rane did the same. Some said the actor is older to Janhvi Kapoor and should have acted with more grace.

Taking potshots on social media?

Such instances where actors and actresses have liked mock videos of peers is becoming very common nowadays. Varun Dhawan liked a KRK post where he made fun of Aneet Padda who secured a blockbuster debut in Bollywood. Mrunal Thakur liked a Tatya Vinchu doll reel that compared Aditi Rao Hydari’s face with that of the demonic doll. Later, that post got deleted. People also said that Sam Merchant liked content that made fun of Kartik Aaryan. It seems Triptii Dimri and he did not gel well during the making of Bhool Bhulaiya 3. While all videos are not exact mock content but more of parodies, we wonder if Bollywood is indeed so chilled that no one is in a retaliatory mood.
