Sohum emphasized the importance of not rushing the project. “We didn’t cut corners. We reshot when necessary, took time where needed, and ensured we perfected the product,” he shared. This commitment to quality is evident in the film’s final output, which continues to captivate audiences.
Directed by Rahi Anil Barve, Tumbbad tells the story of a village cursed by an ancient evil entity guarding immense hidden treasure. Produced by Sohum Shah, Aanand L. Rai, Mukesh Shah, and Amita Shah, the film remains a benchmark in Indian cinema.
Looking ahead, Sohum is set to release Tumbbad 2, a continuation of the beloved story, and Crazxy, a film slated for release on March 7, 2025. The motion poster for Crazxy has already generated excitement, leaving fans eagerly awaiting these new projects.
