Singer Amaal Malik is ASHAMED of being nominated for 'Baaghi'!
Music composer-singer Amaal Malik's take on award nominations will give you goosebumps.Here's what he says-

While the award season has already begun, many of us are eagerly waiting for our beloved actors and favorite films to get honored with the award it deserves. But that doesn't seem to be the case in reality. That's not we, who is saying it but popular music composer and singer Amaal Malik who has made several allegations on the nominations of the award shows.
Amaal, who is among one of the nominated members for an award, (that is to be held soon) shared his heartfelt message on his social media account. The singer who is nominated for his music in films like 'Kapoor and Sons' and 'Baaghi' said that he feels ashamed to be on the list of nominees.
He states that though he accepts his nomination for music in 'Kapoor and Sons' but hisnomination for 'Baaghi' is unfair as the film had an average music as compared to many other films released last year.

He also alleged that it's funny & surprising to see all the star kids being given the newcomers and debut film awards neglecting the deserving ones.
In a detailed note posted by the singer, he has raised many questions over the credibility of such awards.
The 25 years old singer who seemed to be heavily disappointed with such rampant nominations for award even stated that such decisions malign the reputation of the film industry making it a joke.
Indeed, it takes a lot of courage to speak on something of which you too are a part of, we applaud the singer as he has shown a mirror to all!

Now the award functions have become a symbolism of corruption within entertainment industry. Real actors don't give a damm about them and the real appreciation of their work lies in audiences' reactions. @guddididi: Awards are not given for pretty faces and I would love to watch u get lectured by your pretty cutie Ash's mother-in-law for calling her Ash!

How rude ,,he should be happy that he got mentioned and not to think about other loosers...and also i did not like him talking about star kids...star kids are all super talented and they are here to take the legacy ahead and no one can beat a star kid ...its a beauty to even watch the lavish cool life of star kids ..so cute...and i hate this moron talking about pretty cute girl ashwarya mam...How dare he talk against her...its true randeep did not get a nomination but ash got...ash is gorgeous miss world ...and super talented and yes she comes from a powerful family so she deserves to be the princess to take away the best actress award...and this useless is talking about ash girl..how dare he...ash is charming and a power house actress and not a looser like randeep

Whatever he said is completely true. We all know how this awards functions operate. There is no transparency n honesty in judgement. At-least someone has raised a valid point here. RESPECT.

Atleast someone has the courage to speak the truth. There are so many award functions held in Bollywood. And they just distribute awards as if they are distributing candies among kids.

I agree with every single letter he has spoken!! Badlapur album better than Roy, true. ADHM is the best album and the singer, musician and lyricist are the best, true. Armaan Malik deserves to be nominated. Songs like Bol Do Na Zara, Jab Tak, Besabriyan, Kaun Tujhe, Sab Tera, Mujhko Barsaat Bana Lo are so damn hard to find in today's Indian film industry! Star kids being awarded as the best newcomers, jury just proves that they're the height of stupidity and senselessness! Akshay Kumar not nominated for the Best Actor, they've completely lost it! So stand by your words!!
