Simran Tomar to make her TV debut as the grown-up Chikoo in 'Chikoo Ki Mummy Durr Kei'

It was only yesterday that we reported about how Chikoo Ki Mummy Durr Kei is all set to witness a major development as it will be enabling a 10 year leap.

While that means that leading stars Paridhi Sharma and Himanshu Malhotra will be quitting the show, it also means we will have a grown-up Chikoo coming in.

And it can now be confirmed that Delhi girl Simran Tomar will be playing the grown-up Chikoo in the show. This will thus be her debut on the small screen.

Interestingly, while Tomar is playing the female lead, reports suggest actor Sai Ketan Rao of Mehndi Hai Rachne Waali fame has been approached to play the male lead.

About Tomar, she is said to be a successful model and actor. She has worked in several films in Bollywood, Kollywood, and Tollywood. She has also delivered international modeling assignments for reputed brands.

The show, which was earlier going to wrap up in December 2021 because of low ratings, has recently got an extension for the upcoming track.
