Sidharth and Kiara Set to Explore Fantasy Love in New Film; After Shershaah - Reports

After their successful pairing in Shershaah, Bollywood stars Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani are reportedly set to collaborate again on a unique fantasy love story with Maddock Films. Their on-screen chemistry in the 2021 film left fans wanting more, and it seems their wishes may soon be granted as discussions for a new project are underway.

Sources from India Today have revealed that the couple is in preliminary talks with Maddock Films about this new venture. While the exact details of the plot remain confidential, insiders hint that it will differ from typical Bollywood romances, incorporating unexpected twists and fantasy elements.

A source close to the film shared, “There is an interesting twist and a novel element in this love story. It will blend romance with fantasy elements.” This innovative take promises to provide audiences with a refreshing cinematic experience.In Shershaah, Sidharth portrayed Captain Vikram Batra, while Kiara played his girlfriend, Dimple Cheema. The film, directed by Vishnuvardhan, premiered on Amazon Prime Video and was well-received, largely due to the couple’s remarkable chemistry on screen.

Earlier this year, during an interaction with fans on Pinkvilla, Sidharth was questioned about the chances of reuniting with Kiara for another love story. He responded, “That’s up to asking the directors and filmmakers.” He reflected on the affection the audience showed for Shershaah, stating, “We are very happy with the love that we have gotten for that film, even though the love story was a very short part of that film.”

Sidharth noted that their romantic scenes lasted only 12 to 15 minutes but resonated with viewers. “I think the real-life love story of Captain Vikram Batra and Dimple also resonates really well,” he added. He expressed excitement about the possibility of a full-fledged love story, saying, “We would love to do a full-fledged love story. It’s just up to us finding the right content and the right script.”

In the meantime, both actors are engaged with other projects. Sidharth is set to feature in the action thriller Race 4, where he will star opposite Saif Ali Khan. Meanwhile, Kiara is busy filming War 2 alongside Hrithik Roshan and will also appear in Don 3 with Ranveer Singh.
