Siddharth Roy Kapur to replace Ronnie Screwvala as MD
Ronnie Screwvala steps down from the post of MD of The Walt Disney Company and Siddharth Roy Kapoor takes the same position.

Ronnie Screwvala will step down as MD of The Walt
Disney Company (TWDC) India. Ronnie who is also a well-known producer having
produced films like Jodha Akbar, Fashion, Paan Singh Tomar, Chennai Express
etc. will no longer be a part of The Walt Disney Company. Ronnie is an entrepreneur
and the founder of UTV Group.
Siddharth Roy Kapoor, currently MD of Disney UTV Studio business, will take over the company's India operations effective from 1st January. Screwvala will assist in the transition until 30th June 2014.

Siddharth Roy Kapoor is also a producer and husband of versatile actress Vidya Balan.
