Siddhanth Kapoor boards a fight from Bengaluru following the drug case; shares a selfie

Siddhanth Kapoor was summoned to the Bengaluru Ulsoor police station for additional information after being released on bail on Tuesday while being arrested on grounds of alleged drug consumption under the NDPS Act.

The Bollywood actor was summoned by the police to acquire extra details about the party hosted at a city hotspot on Friday night.

Siddhanth Kapoor appeared to be on his way back to Mumbai just a day after receiving bail. On board a flight, the actor and DJ posed for a selfie, implying that he will be returning home soon.

After being a part of a day-long interrogation with the authorities, Siddhanth made his official statement to the media. He stated,

 “I was at the hotel and there was an investigation going on. I have been cooperating. The Bengaluru police have been really good, they are doing a great job. They should continue what they are doing to save many lives." 

Praveen Muguli, Siddhanth’s lawyer also gave a statement to the media. He stated, 

"The alleged offences are bailable in nature. Yesterday he (Siddhanth) was released on bail. Today he came for statement. The police have recorded the statement. He will cooperate and he will come for investigation purposes. Anytime he's asked to come, he will corporate with the police." 

The cell phones of Siddhanth Kapoor and four other suspects caught alongside him were seized and submitted to the police for data retrieval. 

Notices were addressed to the owner of the posh hotel and the coordinators of the rave party. Representatives from the event management business have also been summoned for questioning. 

Medical testing revealed that Siddhanth Kapoor and the other accused had consumed cocaine, according to the police.
