Shubhangi Atre, who is currently seen as Angoori Tiwari in Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain!, is a big Shiv bhakt and is looking forward to celebrating Maha Shivratri, which will be observed on March 8.
She said, “If I'm most fascinated by someone, the one I worship the most or the one I close my eyes to, it's Baba Bholenath. Maha Shivratri is even more important to me than my birthday. It holds greater significance than my existence. I believe it's a day bigger than my existence.”
“Every time I perform the Panchamrit Abhishek, I meditate because the answers to many things in our lives come through meditation,” she added.
Every year, Shubhangi fasts, observes a fruit diet on the day of Maha Shivratri and chants the Maha Mrityunjaya mantra. But the highlight of her festive ritual is the meditation.
I meditate from 3 a.m. to 5 a.m. on the night of Maha Shivratri, which is early morning. I embrace the spirit of Maha Shivratri by immersing myself in meditation. And since Adi Yogi is infinite, I spend maximum time meditating on that day.

She also revealed that since she started her journey towards spirituality and meditation, she has witnessed a lot of positive changes in her life. “The combination of devotion and celebration makes one feel energized. It gives you strength and the spirit to fight, providing mental peace and stability. Surrendering brings about tremendous changes, making things easier. You still have to keep working,” Shubhangi ended.
