Shraddha Jaiswal to enter 'Sasural Simar Ka 2' as a naagin

One of Colors’ most popular shows, ‘Sasural Simar Ka 2’ has emerged as a supernatural family drama with its unpredictable plot twists. Its exciting narrative welcomes Shraddha Jaiswal in the role of Lavanya, a Naagin, who’s seeking vengeance. She has immense powers stored in the five rings on her fingers, with each one carrying a different kind of poison. She looks sweet but is a merciless killer who will stop at nothing to get what she wants. 

The track of the show gets intense as Aarav’s mother, Sandhya attacks a snake to save her son, who kills it in self-defense in a jungle. Aarav’s grandmother Geetanjali Devi and Simar are shocked and frightened because killing a snake is a bad omen. After performing the last rites of the naag, the family heads home, while a Naagin essayed by Shraddha Jaiswal nears his remains, and accesses the memories of the naag to find his killers through her telepathic powers. It’s no coincidence that the Oswal family finds Sandhya dead in her room the very next day. This is the doing of Lavanya the Naagin, who wants to avenge her husband's death. 

Shraddha Jaiswal said, "I’m thrilled to join Sasural Simar Ka 2 with this very interesting role of a naagin. I have previously done shows with COLORS and the producer Rashmi Sharma, so it’s like a homecoming for me. I've been following the show and am quite excited about the upcoming track. My entry is expected to stir the plot and bring big twists to it. Hopefully, the viewers will love my eccentric portrayal of Lavanya."
