Shemaroo Umang’s popular show Badi Haveli Ki Chhoti Thakurain is gearing up for a major turning point as Chaina (Diksha Dhami) faces rising challenges. Chamkeeli’s (Ishita Ganguly) manipulative schemes to turn the family against Chaina seem to be working, but an unexpected twist is set to change everything—the arrival of Guru Maa, portrayed by the iconic Dipika Chikhlia.

Renowned for her portrayal of Sita Maiya in Ramayan, Dipika Chikhlia now steps into the pivotal role of Guru Maa, a spiritual guide who unveils a life-altering truth to Chaina—she is Jaiveer’s (Sheel Verma) Rakshini. She told the entire family and her friends before I could even process it myself!” she laughs.

Diksha further adds, “Deepika ji is so humble and grounded despite her legendary status. Working with her has been an eye-opener and an incredible learning experience. The way she effortlessly lights up every scene with such grace is truly inspiring. I feel fortunate — it felt like Sita Maiya came as a guiding light, not just for Chaina, but for me as an actor too. The whole experience felt absolutely divine.”
