Sikandar is big Eid release of 2025. Salman Khan’s hard-core fans are awaiting his big budget action masala entertainer directed by AR Murugadoss. The film is coming out on a Sunday. The release date is being debated by many experts. There is no denying that Sikandar is for the loyal fans of Salman Khan who believe that Eid is incomplete without his films. Producer and film business expert Girish Johar tells us, “If they shift the date, the dynamics will change. However, seeing the advances I feel the opening will be around Rs 30 – 35 crores. The impact of IPL won’t be huge as we are in the initial stages of the tournament.”

Johar said he is confident that Sunday numbers will be good. “It is obvious the makers wanted to cash in on the Eid sentiment. Baasi Eid is on Tuesday. But we can comprehend its growth only after the first day. Yes, many feel it should have been released on Friday or Saturday but I am sure the makers have weighed in all options.”

Atul Mohan, trade expert tells us that the trailer has been well received by the trade. “See, we feel his fans are happy to see him work with Murugadoss after Farhad Samji and Remo D’Souza. Also, no film of Salman Khan has made less than Rs 100 crores at the box office. We can expect around Rs 40 – 45 crores on day one of Sikandar. I am keeping my expectations at a moderate level here.”

He further said that if it clicked, then Sikandar could make Rs 50 crores plus on its first three days.
