Star Plus' Ishqbaaaz is finally seeing a jump in the ratings once again, where this past week saw the show fetching improved numbers.

And let's just say, the numbers may be completely irrelevant in the upcoming episodes, where the fans will be witnessing something they have never seen before.

There certainly have been cute and sweet romantic moments between Shivaay (Nakuul Mehta) and Anika (Surbhi Chandna) in the past, but when it comes to showcasing true-blue romance, the wait has been a long one.

And only recently, producer, Gul Khan released a clip from an upcoming episode which is sure to even get viral amongst the fans of the show as it displays Shivaay and Anika's romance like never before.

Taking an ode from the Bollywood film, Rangrasiya, Shivaay and Anika will be seen displaying their sensual best and the play of colours will just not be limited to the canvas-

What's absolutely fantastic about the clip is the fact that in spite of it being sensual, sultry and seductive, you do not feel a flicker of discomfort or find it vulgar owing to the brilliantly choreographed sequence and of course, the intense and impeccable performance of the actors.

Looking at the video, let's just say, Shivaay and Anika are truly justifying the multiple 'Best Jodi' awards they have been getting on different instances.

Love, notoriety, banter or seduction, the couple has it all.

The makers have certainly surpassed expectations with the consummation scene. It was surely an awaited one but didn't think they would come up with something special as such. Song, setting, aesthetics, cinematography, execution, everything is on point. And the chemistry is scorching. The passion and intensity shows and fits perfectly with the kind of journey that ShivIka went through. Lalit Mohan has done a wonderful job directing this one. Kudos to him, Surbhi Chandana, Nakuul Mehta and the whole Ishqbaaaz team. I just hope it translated equally well on the screen. For now, I have no complaints. Although I couldn't help but think if Surbhi and Nakuul felt icky shoooting for the scene lol.
