What Is Raj Kundra Rs 60 Crore Cheating Case?

The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) booked Raj Kundra and Shilpa Shetty in August 2025, following allegations of a Rs 60.4 crore fraud against a Mumbai-based businessman involving a loan-cum-investment deal. Another person, whose identity remains undisclosed, was also charged in the case. Deepak Kothari, the complainant, alleges that the couple defrauded him of over Rs 60 crore, linked to Shetty and Kundra's former venture, Best Deal TV Pvt Ltd. Kothari's investment, made between 2015 and 2023, was intended for business expansion, but he claims the funds were misused for personal expenses. The EOW is currently investigating the matter.
