Shehzada Dhami opens up on being a viewer of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai to now being the 'Hero' of the show

Congratulations on your role in the show, Shehzada. Could you provide us with some insight into your character in the series?

Thank you so much. My character is named Armaan Poddar, and he is India's top advocate, renowned for never losing a single case. However, for Armaan, the most significant feat is to win his grandmother's heart. The reasons behind his sentiments and his approach to achieving this goal will become clear when you watch the show.

What was your initial reaction when you learned that you were shortlisted for the show?

My reaction was a mix of sheer excitement and amazement. I remember thinking, "Wow, I'm going to be a part of 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai'." I was just a child when I used to watch the show. This series has spanned three generations, and as a kid watching it, I never even dared to dream that I could one day become the "Hero" of this show. So when I received a call from Rajan sir, I was over the moon.

Given the immense love and admiration that the audience has for Pranali Rathod and Harshad Chopda, do you think they will accept the new generation of characters?

Well, I believe that every journey starts somewhere. The first, second, and third generations all had their beginnings. Similarly, the fourth generation is embarking on its own journey, and I have faith in the talented writers, directors, and creatives behind the show. The individuals who contributed to the show's successful run in the previous generations are equally committed this time. So, I believe the audience should give the new generation a chance and tune in to the show.
