Sheezan Khan quits 'Chand Jalne Laga' in less than a month

Sheezan M Khan recently returned to the fiction genre with "Chand Jalne Laga" after a nearly year-long hiatus. Despite portraying Ali Baba in "Ali Baba: Dastaan-e-Kabul," he had high expectations for this comeback project. Unfortunately, within a month of starting shooting on December 1, he decided to quit the daily soap.

After a significant hiatus, the actor has recently returned to the fiction genre with "Chand Jalne Laga" and has unfortunately quit the show. He was initially cast as Dr Arjun, Tara's childhood friend, adding a unique dimension to the love story between Dev (Vishal Aditya Singh) and Tara (Kanika Mann). However, he has decided to exit the daily soap in less than a month, citing a shift in promised roles. 

Initially promised the role of the parallel lead, in an interview with one of the leading portals, Sheezan expressed disappointment as it was later reduced to just another character. He had no choice but to leave the show, seeking a role that would better showcase his talent. His criteria as an actor include substantial screen time and a performance-oriented role.

In their old interview, Sheezan shared his initial reservations about joining the show midway. Despite his fears, they vanished when he heard the narration and the upcoming storyline. He emphasized understanding his reality and appreciating the opportunity to work when others hesitated to offer him roles.

He has even expressed gratitude for being back in the industry and his willingness to start anew, stating at least he has the guts to restart. He maintained his approach to work, considering himself a newcomer and recognizing that life teaches something new every day.

Before his acting comeback, Sheezan underwent a makeover by bidding adieu to his long, lustrous locks after almost two years.
