Shantanu Maheshwari Approached For Star Plus’ Sanjivani?

Ever since the news of Star Plus bringing back its cult classic, Sanjivani broke out, there has been a curiosity amidst the audience for the same. This show is a remake of Sanjivani that aired in 2002, later introduced in second season as, Dill Mill Gaye. The remake will also follow the basic storyline of doctors and the struggles in the lives of all the individual characters. The show will feature Surbhi Chandana and Namit Khanna in the lead roles.

Now, we have an interesting update about the show. Dil Dosti Dance fame, actor Shantanu Maheshwari has been approached by the makers for a cameo role. His stint will be seen in the initial episodes. The actor recently worked in ALT Balaji’s Medically Yourrs. Our source told us, “Shantanu has been approached for this cameo. He will have a special part to play, even though it is a short part.”

We contacted Shantanu, who said, "No comments."

Recently, the makers of the show made an official announcement of Sanjivani with the cast of the show.

Sanjivani is a story of doctors, their ambitions and about the interpersonal relationship with each other. The show will also star Namit Khanna, Surbhi Chandna, Sayantani Ghosh, Rohit Roy, Mohnish Bahl and Gurdeep Kohli.
