New guidelines for shoots to be resuming soon have already been issued and while they are fairly strict, that is indeed the need of the day for work to resume.
With the central Government announcing the unlock 1.0 of the module of lockdown, certain relaxations have also been introduced. Religious places, malls in areas, restaurants will be open in green and orange zones from June 8th.
According to latest reports, producer Rashmi Sharma has decided to shift the set of her show, Shakti... Astitva Ke Ehsaas Kii to Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad.
However, actor Kamya Punjabi, who plays one of the prominent roles in the show denies any such development. In an interview with ETimes, Punjabi said, "We have not been informed about any such development. Right now the focus is to start the shooting and different ideas are being explored but nothing has been communicated to us. We are not informed about flying to Ramoji Rao Studio in Hyderabad. I don't think we need to move out of the city, because where we shoot Ramdev Studio is in an orange zone, so if we have to start the shoot we can do there as well. Because it is on the highway and away from residential area. This is a very big decision and taking actors from Mumbai to Hyderabad is also a huge task. It's not that easy. I am sure the channel and Production houses will take decisions which are best and right for everyone. If they feel Hyderabad is safe for everyone, they will do it. I have my complete faith and support with them and in whatever they decide."
When asked about flying to Hyderabad and being informed about it, she said, "There is no such planning and whatever talks everyone is listening they are just been discussed and nothing has been finalised. Basically, everyone is popping up ideas. Flying everyone from Mumbai to Hyderabad is also not going to be easy and travelling in airlines is also not safe. Woh ek bahut bada chance lena hoga. Honestly, nothing has been decided or told to us. Everyone is just trying their best to start the shoot in a best possible way keeping everyone's health and safety in mind."
