Shakti Kapoor LASHES out about Shraddha's alleged relationship!

Rumors and reports about Shraddha Kapoor's alleged relationship with Farhan Akhtar had been making rounds since quite some time. Though their last film 'Rock On 2' failed to impress the audience, their off-screen friendship grabbed all the attention of the media.

Farhan recently got separated from his wife Adhuna after 16 years of marriage, and the reason for the split was speculated to be his closeness with Shraddha.

A piece of news published on a popular portal yesterday reported that Shraddha's father and veteran actor Shakti Kapoor was agitated with his daughter's relationship with Farhan Akhtar.

However, bashing to all the reports about his daughter, Shakti gave an another side to the story.

A popular tabloid quoted the 58 years old actor informing, "I came back from Goa only last evening and was shocked to read what is being reported. It's absolute nonsense.Shraddha is a wonderful kid and I asked her to not take such gossip seriously. I have been a part of the Hindi film industry for 35 years and have been a target of many such controversies myself," (sic).

When asked that Shraddha was recently spotted at Farhan Akhtar's residence with Arjun Rampal, he said, "Earlier she was working with Aditya (Roy Kapur), she was being linked with him too," he pointed out, reiterating, "I really respect Farhan; he is a really talented boy and comes from a respectable family." (sic)

The actor who showed immense faith in his daughter also said, "All of us in the house share a warm, friendly equation. We don't hide things from each other. I know the day she finds someone and wants to get married, she will tell me. And if I like the boy, I will have no problems at all." (sic)
