Shaheer Sheikh on World Doctor's Day: A doctor’s hard work is something to be grateful for

The Coronavirus pandemic has been difficult on everyone, and almost everything has come to a halt. However, though there are people who have had the chance to be at home and stay safe while ensuring that their families too, are safe, it is the frontline workers, who have been out there, fighting the pandemic. 

If it weren't for the health workers, especially doctors, the pandemic would have been a difficult fight after all. Today, as we celebrated World Doctor's Day, Shaheer Sheikh, went on to express his gratitude and added how they are truly next to God. He added, “Doctors are considered to be next to Gods and this pandemic has indeed proved that correct. With these warriors fighting for us non-stop at the front line 24x7, I think every day should be celebrated as World Doctor’s Day. Leaving their families back home and keeping their own safety aside, a doctor’s hard work is something to be grateful for. I want to salute all these brave warriors and thank them for their duty.”

Shaheer is currently shooting for Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi... Nayi Kahani in Mumbai and recently wrapped up the shooting schedule in Ladakh. Apart from the show, the actor was recently seen in a music video with Hina Khan, titled Baarish Ban Jaana and it managed to be an immediate hit with the fans.
