In a recent interview, he expressed his desire to act until his last breath, even jokingly stating he would prefer to pass away on a film set. Though he doesn't see himself as a serious actor, Khan revels in celebrating life through his craft and enjoys entertaining others.

Acting demands significant dedication and hard work, and Shah Rukh Khan is a prime example of this commitment. Recently, he spoke with the Locarno Film Festival for their YouTube channel, sharing insights about his approach to acting and his future aspirations.

At 58, Khan was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the festival. When asked if he wished to act indefinitely, he responded enthusiastically, saying, "Will I act forever? Yeah, till the day I die. My dream is to hear 'action' and then not get up when they say 'cut.' I want to act as long as I can."

He described his style as not being serious, emphasizing that he aims to celebrate life's joys through his performances. For him, the act of entertaining is paramount, and he creates films with that intention.

Khan stated, "If I can entertain you for two minutes, that's love. If I can love someone for 50 years, that's entertainment. If I can entertain someone for 30 seconds, it’s creative. I find different ways to express the same joy and truly enjoy making people feel good."

He admitted feeling disappointed when he can't connect with audiences through his work but remains devoted to acting and entertaining indefinitely. Shah Rukh expressed gratitude for the freedom to choose his projects, highlighting his eagerness for action films during the lockdown, which led to his starring role in Pathaan.

On the workfront, Shah Rukh Khan is set to appear in Sujoy Ghosh's crime drama King, sharing the screen with his daughter, Suhana Khan, for the first time; the film is anticipated to release in 2026. Additionally, he will make a cameo in his son Aryan Khan's debut series, Stardom.
