2000's "No Entry" a multi-starer film starring Salman Khan and Anil Kapoor and many other actors in the lead has been one of the most popular comedy films of all time.
According to reports, the director Anees Bazmee and producer Boney Kapoor have been keen on casting Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor for the role, however, their tight schedule has left them in a spot where the film is said to put on hold.
A close source informed a leading daily, "Anees Bazmee wanted younger cast in the sequel hence Ranveer has been approached to play the role of Prem, originally essayed by Salman, while Arjun will play Kishan, who was portrayed by Anil but it is not happening anytime soon. Other actors will be finalised if Ranveer will give his nod."
"Ranveer has to finish "Gully Boy", "Simmba" and Kapil Dev's biopic "83'" and Arjun has Namastey England and biggest war movie of Ashutosh Gowariker, "Panipa", for which he has given his maximum dates available," the source added.
However, it will be interesting to see if the duo takes out some time for the sequel and how they turn out this film. Recently, Boney Kapoor had said that he will be speaking to Salman Khan regarding the sequel of No Entry. "I am going to meet Salman very soon and discuss the sequel. If he can't do it then we will explore possibilities. We have a script ready so we will explore (other actors)," said Boney.
Meanwhile, reuniting Salman and Anil are currently shooting for "Race 3" in Abu Dhabi.
