In a medium which is entirely female-dominated, few male actors have managed to create an impact enough to sustain and one of them undoubtedly is Azim.

Actor Sehban Azim has been a constant TV face for a while now and has starred in some of the most successful shows for a while now. Having last appeared on the long-running show, Tujhse Hai Raabta opposite Reem Sheikh, the actor is currently playing the lead in Spy Bahu opposite Sana Sayyad.
In a medium which is entirely female-dominated, few male actors have managed to create an impact enough to sustain and one of them undoubtedly is Azim. Frist tlaking about his initial days, Azim mentioned how he was doing modelling and short films back in the day where he used to get multiple offers but would turn them down as he did not relate to them. Then Dill Mill Gayye happened and that changed his perspective towards the small screen.
Now here we are, 10 years plus later, he feels lucky and proud to be associated with TV because he has learnt so much as a professional from the medium. Talking about staying relevant in a female-dominated medium he said that he feels glad to move to TV at the right time. He also mentioned that he never felt overshadowed by his female co-star be it playing important characters like those in Thapki... Pyaar Ki and Bepanaah or Udaan among others.
Azim then mentioned that he was initially bogged down upon for being the dusky guy. He mentioned how some people even told him to use makeup to look fair. But now he feels lucky that heroes can be dark and handsome and the perception towards the same has changed.
