Savi Thakur talks about his decision to take up 'Laal Banarasi' despite airing on a new channel

Savi Thakur who has been a part of popular shows like Maddam Sir, Guddan and more is all set to embark upon a new journey with his upcoming show 'Laal Banarasi.' India Forums got in touch with the actor to know a little more about the show, his character in the show and more. 

Talking to us about what exactly drew him to the show and what will his character be, Savi said, ''Firstly, I am really very happy to be a part of the show. What attracted me towards the show was the story line and the concept. When I was given a brief about the show and my character, I was really impressed. This character has many layers to it, He is not just another guy who is well dressed and looks good. So this trait of my character was pretty attractive to me.''

Savi shared memories of shooting in Banaras (Varanasi) and said, ''I think I will remeber shooting for the show for the rest of my life. We shot for the show in Varanasi and itr was so hot there, I mean 42-43 degrees everyday. Honestly, I've never worked in such a weather before. However, my experience was nice. We visited the Kashi Vishwanath temple and post that I felt very fresh.''

Further when we asked Savi what will set the show apart from all the shows on television the actor said, ''Viewers will know this when they see their show. Yes, our show is totally different from the rest of the shows on television today, and once you watch it, You will fall in love.''

We asked Savi if he had any inhibitions on doing the show because it will air on a new channel and the actor said, ''No, not at all. Yes, the channel is new. But I know we will make it happen.''

Laal Banarasi will air on Nazara TV and the show also stars Gauri Chitranshi and Narayani Shashtri in titular roles.
