Sargun Mehta reveals that she named her new show 'Swaran Ghar' after her grandmother Sawaran Bedi

Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta are all set to produce their second show under their banner Dremiyata Productions. The duo turned producer with their first show on Colors' titled 'Udaariyaan'. The show has won million of hearts and has become a solid member of the TOP 5 most viewed TV shows' club.

The show stars popular actor Sangeeta Ghosh in the lead role. Actors like Ronit Roy, Nirmal Rishi, Varun Badola, Rohit Chaudhary and Manu Dhanjal will also join the project.

The show's first promo is all set to be launched today on Colors' TV. Ahead of the same, Sargun Mehta shared an interesting detail about the show. While sharing a few pictures of her grandmother, Mehta revealed that she has named the show and the lead character after the name of her grandmother Mrs. Swaran Bedi. She also mentioned that the story of the show is not her grandmother's story but the show is closer to her in many ways.

She wrote: Aaj 'Swaran Ghar' ka promo launch ho raha hai. Laga aapko 'Original Swaran Bedi' dikha du kaun hai. Meri nani ki kahani nahi hai par unke naam ki hai. Bas ab zindagi bhar Swaran Bedi ka naam yaad rakhege. SEE YOU SOON ON @ColorsTv
