Sanjivani 2 Trailer Review: Dr Sid & Ishani's Banter Forms Best Part of Trailer!

Star Plus is currently gearing up for the release of its upcoming medical drama, Sanjivani 2. Starring Surbhi Chandna, Namit Khanna, Sayantani Ghosh, Rohit Roy, Mohnish Behl and Gurdeep Kohli, the show is a remake of their much-loved cult classic, Sanjivani that was a superhit during the 2000s. Sanjivani is a story of doctors, their ambitions and about the interpersonal relationship with each other. The show draws inspiration from the old one in terms of the storyline but will have a contemporary twist. 

The show has already started creating a buzz and it struck the right chord when the makers launched the first teaser of the show featuring the iconic Sanjivani whistle. Now, the makers have revealed the first promo of the show and it is intriguing as well as informative. The promo gives a descriptive hint of every pivotal actor’s character details. While Dr Sid (Namit) is seen helping a needy by giving him money for treatment, at the same time, Dr Ishani’s (Surbhi) bubbly and honest behaviour is highlighted where she mistakenly interprets that Sid has taken a bribe and exposes him in front of everyone. Dr Anjali (Sayantani) and Dr Vardhaan (Rohit), who were missing from the teaser have yet again got little introduction only, but their stint is impactful. Dr Juhi (Gurdeep)  and Dr Shashank (Mohnish) will give a major nostalgia. 

Ishani and Sid’s funny banter is grabbing eyeballs. But we think the song that has been added to create a humorous effect is not appealing much, rather it is distorting a few parts of the trailer.
