Samantha Ruth Prabhu Reacts to Sreeleela’s Pushpa 2 Song: "Keep Calm and Wait for Pushpa 2"

Samantha Ruth Prabhu recently shared her reaction to Sreeleela's performance in the new song "Kissik" from Pushpa 2. Samantha, who became a sensation with her special number "Oo Antava" in Pushpa: The Rise, expressed her admiration for the track. Taking to Instagram Stories, she posted a clip of the song and praised Sreeleela while also cheering for the upcoming sequel, Pushpa: The Rule.

Tagging Sreeleela in her story, Samantha wrote, “Killed it,” accompanied by fire emojis. She further added, “Keep calm and wait for Pushpa 2.” The song, composed by Devi Sri Prasad (DSP) and sung by Subhalakshmi, showcases an electrifying dance sequence performed by Allu Arjun and Sreeleela. The vibrant background visuals and energetic choreography by Ganesh Acharya make the track even more engaging.

Recalling Samantha’s Oo Antava, the song became a massive hit, not just in Telugu-speaking regions but also across India. It even received love from Bollywood celebrities. Earlier this year, Samantha spoke about her experience with the song during the India Today Conclave 2024. She revealed how challenging it was for her to perform the bold number.

Samantha shared, “I have always felt like I’m not good enough, not pretty, or like the other girls. Performing Oo Antava was terrifying. The first shot had me shaking with fear because being sexy isn’t my thing. But I’ve always embraced tough challenges to grow as an actor and person.” She also mentioned that she doesn’t plan on doing another dance number, saying, “I don’t see the challenge in it anymore.”

Meanwhile, Pushpa 2, directed by Sukumar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, is set to release on December 5, exactly three years after Pushpa: The Rise. The first part was a massive success, earning over ?350 crore worldwide.

The sequel features Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, Sreeleela, and Prakash Raj in key roles. Fans are eagerly waiting for the film’s grand release.
