On Wednesday, Salman Khan was spotted arriving at the Mount Mary School polling booth in Mumbai to cast his vote in the ongoing Maharashtra Assembly Elections. Despite facing significant security threats, the actor made sure to fulfill his civic duty. His arrival at the polling booth was closely guarded by a strong security team, highlighting the seriousness of the situation.

In the videos shared online, Salman looked relaxed and in good spirits as he made his way into the booth. Dressed casually in a grey t-shirt, jeans, black cap, and sunglasses, the actor was seen waving at fans and even sending flying kisses to them. He took a moment to interact with a few fans at the polling station, capturing the essence of his charming personality. His security detail remained tight throughout the visit, ensuring his safety at all times.

Earlier in the day, Salman’s father, Salim Khan, and his brother Arbaaz Khan were also seen stepping out to vote, adding to the family’s visible participation in the election process.

Salman has been under the radar of security agencies after receiving multiple threats. Earlier this month, he received a message from the notorious Lawrence Bishnoi gang, which warned of serious consequences for a songwriter over a song allegedly linking Salman with a jailed gangster. This marked the fifth threat in a series of messages directed at the actor, which has raised significant concern.

Despite the ongoing threats, Salman Khan’s commitment to democracy stood strong. Netizens on Twitter quickly showered the actor with praises for his courage. One user tweeted, "Despite facing death threats, SALMAN KHAN demonstrated his commitment to democracy by exercising his right to vote."
