Bollywood actor Salman Khans film and action sequences is an unsaid rule. Stylised action sequences have always been a mainstay of Salman Khan’s movies.
But with his upcoming new film ‘Antim’, opposite Aayush Sharma, Salman has adopted a new approach in many aspects.
One of those is choice of doing his own action sequences for this film. A source from the production house revealed to ETimes,
“Salman has executed his own hand-to-hand combat sequences in the film, without the use of a stunt double. He wanted to do this to maintain the real and gritty feeling of the film.”
The source also revealed that Salman’s character doesn’t have any romantic angle in the film and instead has an air of mystery and an understated silence around him.
According to the source, such aspects are rarely seen in Salman’s character and that’s what makes ‘Antim’ so different and special.
Also the fact that he's playing a Sikh cop and locking horns with a completely reinvented Aayush Sharma also adds to the fresh appeal of the film.
It has been two years since fans saw a Salman Khan film release on the big screen, and that’s why the buzz around ‘Antim’ is exciting with lots of anticipation.
Also in a recent appearance at a quiz show Salman confessed that the shredded bodies of younger actors made him work hard to maintain himself even at the age of 56. He then opens up about his inspiration behind body-building, saying: "I have always followed Dharamji".
The film will be released in theatres worldwide on November 26.
Apart from Salman and Aayush, the cast also features Mahima Makwana. ‘Antim: The Final Truth’ is directed by Mahesh Manjrekar, produced by Salma Khan, and presented by Salman Khan Films.
