Salman Khan firing case: Two shooters arrested by Mumbai Police; tracked down from Bhuj brought to the bay

In a recent development concerning the shooting incident outside actor Salman Khan's residence on April 14th, the Mumbai Crime Branch has successfully made two arrests. The suspects, identified as Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal, were captured in Bhuj, Gujarat, after fleeing Mumbai in the wake of the shooting. They have been recently brought back to Mumbai for further interrogation and will appear in court on Tuesday afternoon.

The incident, which took place in the early hours of April 14th, saw two individuals on a motorcycle firing shots outside Galaxy Apartments in Bandra, where Salman Khan resides. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, but the presence of Salman Khan during the incident added gravity to the situation.

Following the shooting, the suspects abandoned their motorcycle near a church and then utilized various modes of transportation to flee the scene. Their actions, including hiring an autorickshaw and boarding a train, reflect a calculated attempt to evade capture.

Of significant concern is the alleged involvement of Anmol Bishnoi, brother of notorious gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, in claiming responsibility for the incident on social media. The Bishnoi gang has a history of violence, including their alleged role in the assassination of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala. Anmol's provocative post on Facebook, coupled with the mention of the Bishnoi gang's connection, raises questions about the motive behind the shooting.

It's essential to note that Salman Khan has yet to react to the incident publicly, but yesterday, Arbaaz Khan issued a statement on his social media handle thanking all the fans and fraternity people for their concern and asking them to give some time to process it all. 

As the investigation progresses, the spotlight remains on Salman Khan and the broader implications of the shooting for Bollywood as a whole.
