Arbaaz Khan gives official statement: Our family has been taken aback by this shocking incident

Arbaaz Khan, brother of Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, has issued a statement on behalf of their family following the recent shooting incident outside their residence at Bandra's Galaxy Apartments. In a statement released to the media, Arbaaz clarified that their father, Salim Khan, did not label the incident as a "publicity stunt" and asserted that the family remains deeply affected by the incident.

"The recent incident of firing by two unidentified persons on a motorcycle at Galaxy apartment, the residence of the Salim Khan family, is very disturbing and unnerving," Arbaaz stated, highlighting the gravity of the situation. 

He clarified that contrary to media reports, the family has been greatly affected by the incident and urged the public not to lend credence to unfounded statements.

Arbaaz emphasized that no member of the Salim Khan family has spoken to the media regarding the incident. He reiterated the family's commitment to cooperating with the police investigation and expressed confidence in the Mumbai police force's ability to ensure the safety and security of their family.   

He wrote, 

"The recent incident of firing by two unidentified person on a motorcycle at Galaxy apartment the residence of the Salim Khan family is very disturbing and unnerving. Our family has been taken aback by this shocking incident that took place. Unfortunately some people claiming to be close to our family and pretending to be the spokesperson have been making loose statements to the media saying it's all a publicity stunt and the family remains unaffected which is not true and these views should not be taken seriously. No member of the Salim Khan family has made any statement regarding this incident to the media. At this time the family is helping and cooperating with the police in the investigation of this untoward incident. We have faith in the Mumbai police and we have been assured they will do everything in their capacity to protect and secure our family. Thank you everyone for your love and support."

For the unversed, Following the shooting, which occurred on a Sunday morning, swift action was taken by law enforcement authorities. Two unidentified individuals reportedly opened fire outside the Khan residence, prompting immediate attention from the police. Preliminary investigations suggest a meticulously planned attack, with the assailants covering their faces under helmets.
